Our Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Allison for her hard work and dedication to the art of sewing and for her interest in persuing a degree in costume design for theater and film. Allison has been awarded our chapter's scholarship to help with her studies at the University of Central Florida.

Allison has always loved to sew and is completely self-taught. She not only honed her skills via books and the internet, but worked as the costume designer for American Stage Theater's Educational Tour. She also worked full-time as an alterations specialist with David's Bridal while attending school.

Talk about motivated! I'm sure we are all wishing Allison all the best at UCF and can't wait to see where her sewing adventure will take her next.
